2008 Rooms With a View Lecture Series

The Rosslyn Renaissance 17th annual ‘Rooms With a View’ lecture series gives participants access to Rosslyn’s special spaces, breathtaking views of Washington, and stimulating discussions on our urban community. A combination networking, food and libations after-work events, each lecture features an important issue facing the region or highlights activities of a Rosslyn-based organization.

All events are 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.. Reception begins at 6:00 p.m. Lectures are FREE, but reservations are required. Attendees welcome day of the event. For reservations, call 703-522-6628 or email sprice@RosslynVA.org.

May, 1 6:00 p.m. — Synetic Theater: Scenes from “Carmen“

The Washington Post called Synetic’s “Romeo and Juliet“ “physical and passionate.“ Our behind-the-scenes look at a rehearsal of their “Carmen,“ soon to be unveiled at the Kennedy Center, will show why Synetic earned a spot on The Post’s Best Bets of 2007, and won 16 Helen Hayes Awards nominations in 2008.

May, 22 6:00 p.m. — POLITICO: Scenes from the Election Year

Politics is hot and POLITICO is sizzling. With the White House up for grabs, everyone is talking politics. Hear the behind-the-scenes stories and tomorrow’s news from Washington’s newest paper...based right here in Rosslyn.

June, 5 6:00 p.m. — The Rosslyn Plan: Scenes of Redevelopment

Development in Rosslyn is fast and furious. Come hear about all the plans in the pipeline and be a part of Rosslyn's future.
